Getting started

How long does it take to make a page?
Most families have something published in under ten minutes. You need a name and a photograph to begin — the story, the service details and the rest of the photographs can all be added later, at your own pace. Nothing is lost if you stop halfway.
Do I need to pay to start?
No. A free page holds ten photographs and a short video, with the guest book, candles, service details and privacy controls all included. You only pay if you want more room or a clean tribute video.
Can other people help me run the page?
Yes. You can give another registered account co-owner access, so a sibling can approve contributions and edit the story alongside you.

Photographs and video

How do relatives send me their photographs?
Every page has a contribution link. Send it in a family group chat and anyone can add photographs, videos and written memories from their phone, without making an account. Everything they add waits for your approval first.
What can I upload?
Photographs as JPG, PNG, HEIC or WebP up to 100 MB each — straight from an iPhone is fine. Video as MP4, MOV or WebM up to 2 GB.
What happens to the location data in my photos?
We remove it. Photographs from phones often record exactly where they were taken, and we strip that out before the picture is ever shown.
Can I get all the files back out?
At any time. There is a single button that downloads the whole memorial — every photograph and video at original quality, plus the stories in a plain readable format — as one archive.

The tribute video

What is the tribute video?
A slideshow of the photographs, with music, titles and their name and dates — rendered as a proper HD video file you download and play at the service. It is the thing funeral homes typically charge £100–£400 to make.
Can I choose the music?
Yes. There is a library of royalty-free pieces — gentle piano, hymns, classical and something more uplifting — that you can listen to before choosing. You can also upload your own recording, as long as you have the right to use it.
How long does it take to make?
Usually a few minutes. A long one with a hundred photographs can take up to fifteen. You do not have to wait on the page — we email you when it is ready.
What is the watermark?
On the free plan the finished video carries a small RememberedBy mark in the corner, so you can see exactly what you would be getting. A clean copy comes with any paid plan, or with a one-time $29 Slideshow Pass if the video is all you want.

Privacy and control

Who can see the page?
You choose. Unlisted is the default — anyone with the link can see it, but search engines cannot find it. Private means only people you invite. Public means anyone can find it, including through Google. You can change this at any time.
Can I moderate what people write?
Yes, completely. You can approve, hide or delete anything. You can also switch on approval-first, so nothing appears until you have read it. A word filter holds anything obviously abusive for your review by default.
Can I delete the page?
Yes. Deleting removes the page and every file on it permanently, and we do mean permanently — we ask you to type the person's name first, because it cannot be undone.

Paying

What does it cost?
Free to start. Premium is $79 a year, and Forever is $149 once — the same features, but paid for permanently. See the pricing page for what each includes.
What happens if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. The page becomes read-only at free limits — everything already on it stays visible exactly as it is. It goes back to normal the moment you renew.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 30 days, no questions asked. Just write to us.
How are payments handled?
Through Stripe, which handles the card details directly — we never see or store them. Apple Pay and Google Pay work too.
